Abstract |
By photographing bird sound on motion picture film it is possible to bring bird song into the laboratory and study it intensively under the microscope. In sound photography several types of sound tracks are produced depending on which of several methods of photography is employed. These are applied to the study of characteristics of birdsong, such as frequency.
